Specific Activities of EGIL

 The European Commission's High Level Group on Digital Libraries - Model Licences and the Orphan Works guidelines

EBLIDA is represented on the Copyright Sub-Group of the European Commission's High Level Group on Digital Libraries which was set-up in 2006.

The Sub-Group developed a "Model Agreement for a Licence on Digitisation of Out-of-Print Works and a Model Agreement for a Licence on Digitisation of Out-of-Print Works with Option for Online Accessibility

The Memorandum of Understanding on Diligent Search Guidelines for Orphan Workswas signed on 4 June 2008 by representatives of right holders and cultural institutions.
