Previous activities
LIBER (Ligue des Bibliothèques Européennes de Recherche) and EBLIDA (European Bureau of Library, Information and Documentation Associations) organised every two years since 2007 a three-day workshop.
In October 2011, LIBER and EBLIDA held their third joint workshop: 3rd LIBER-EBLIDA Workshop on Digitization of Library Material in Europe.
In October 2009, LIBER and EBLIDA held their second joint workshop: 2nd LIBER-EBLIDA Digitization of Library Material in Europe.
In October 2007, LIBER and EBLIDA held their first three-day Digitisation Workshop in Copenhagen and formulated a set of recommendations, which were sent to Commissioner Viviane Reding in January 2008. See the letter and recommendations here.
